Tribute Gifts

Has someone made a difference in your life? A tribute gift is a great way to show thanks and help others in your community.

United Way’s e-tribute donations can help you:

  • Honour a speaker or presenter
  • Mark a milestone or a special occasion like an anniversary or a birthday
  • Honour someone’s memory with a gift (in memoriam giving)

You can choose from a variety of e-cards and send them directly to your honouree. You will receive a tax receipt (for donations more than $20) and a note of thanks for your generosity.

How to give an e-card

We have a variety of e-cards you can choose.

Simply go to our “donate” page, select a gift amount, and choose “Give in tribute or in memory”

Select your card and fill out the “to” and “from” fields and add a message. Once you complete your transaction, your honouree will receive their e-card and you will receive a tax receipt (for donations more than $20) and a note of thanks for your generosity.

In memoriam gifts

Through memoriam giving, you can honour the memory of a family member, a friend or a mentor.

All donors receive a tax receipts (for donations more than $20) and a note of thanks for their generosity. If you wish, the family of the person you are honouring can also be notified with a mailed card.
