We are pleased to announce Erika Stenson as the new Executive Director of United Way Southern Vancouver Island.
Erika Stenson is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in aligning business strategy with organizational goals. She has provided direction and guidance on strategy, planning, and implementation to clients and partners across various sectors. Erika is a graduate of Harvard Business School, holds a diploma in applied communications, and is an accredited communication and advertising professional.
Erika has served on the board of Destination Greater Victoria and held leadership positions on various committees, including the Finance and Membership committee, the Sales and Marketing committee, and the Governance and Human Resources committee. She has also served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria Capital Region and was a member of the marketing committee of the National Association of Natural History Museums.
“The work United Way has been doing to support programs, serve our communities and create opportunities for people to build better lives has inspired me for a long time,” says Erika Stenson. “I am excited about working with the United Way Southern Vancouver Island (UWSVI) team, donors, community partners and volunteers to forge a strong, sustainable and inclusive path forward for the organization.”
