Volunteering Weaves Us Together

April 19, 2023 / by United Way

Volunteer Week has arrived, and the United Way Southern Vancouver Island is expressing recognition and gratitude towards their volunteers.

During National Volunteer Week, we reflect on the incredible support from our volunteer community, from our dedicated and enthusiastic Workplace volunteers, Committee and Cabinet members, Community Impact volunteers, Board members, Women United members, and more, inspire us to continue our mission of uplifting and transforming lives across our region.

This year’s theme, “Volunteering Weaves Us Together,” is a fitting tribute to the volunteers’ selflessness and hard work in creating a stronger, more resilient, and caring community. The volunteers are the threads that bind the organization and are greatly appreciated for their contributions.

UWSVI recognizes the volunteers’ willingness to give their time, skills, and energy to support the cause and the positive change they are making in the lives of individuals and families in the community. Without their valuable support, we could not carry out our work.

We want to express our gratitude for the volunteers’ integral part in the organization’s family and their contributions toward weaving a better future for everyone.

Thank you.
