United Way Southern Vancouver Island’s Women United group invites you and your friends to attend our annual fundraising event! This year, Women United is raising critical funds for a social cause that reduces barriers by providing self‐identified women with professional clothing, shoes, accessories, and personal‐care items that will assist them in work and life.
Join us for a fun Saturday event on September 24th at the exclusive Union Club and help change lives one wardrobe at a time!
The evening will include reception-style canapes, a cash bar, guest speakers to talk about why your support is needed, a fashion show by people who were helped and succeeded through the program, amazing silent and live auction items, and entertainment for you to have a good time while helping a great cause!

Proceeds will support the services offered by Wear2Start, a volunteer-driven non-profit society helping locally. By attending and supporting this event, you will be empowering self-identified women in Victoria to prepare for challenges, such as retaining and maintaining employment, meeting potential landlords, and attaining and sustaining healthy functionality in their daily lives.
