We’re encouraging local businesses, unions, clubs, community centres, and schools to run a Period Promise campaign for donations and/or menstrual products to help us Fill the Bus on May 25 at Save-on-Foods Saanich Plaza (3510 Blanshard St.).
Running a Period Promise campaign is easy, fun, and gratifying – because you know you’ll be helping out real people in a tangible way.
Check out the toolkit below, with handy resources to help you ask for donations or run a menstrual product drive: posters, templates, and methods to donate both in person and online. Or connect with rebecka.ibbotson@uwsvi.ca for more information.
And you’re doing good work simply by talking openly about period poverty. Get the conversation going! If you’re on social platforms, tag the conversation with #PeriodPromise
